During SIRE inspection, inspector noticed that rendering point of mooring winch (61.5 ) is superior than SWL of fairleads (56ts). What to do in this case, in order to avoid reccurence of such obs in the futur ? |

The brake must be set to 60% rope MBL (Minimum Break Load), which is 5% above SWL of mooring rope. Set the brake rendering point properly, re-issue certificate and renew stencil marking on the winch body.
