Due to vibration HPS pump inlet pressure transmitters fail. At high RPM corresponding values in COCOS screen are fluctuating. After replacing transmitter with a new one displayed values stop fluctuating. What is the typical lifetime for that transmitters? Anyone got similar problem?

Answer:

Inlet pressure should be in range of 1.8 -2 bar, fluctuating +-0.2 bar. Normally nothing really happen to mentioned pressure transmitters. Usually HPS proportional valves positions and feedback are fluctuating a lot.
