What are the required conditions for the correct operation of the refrigeration plant?
In order to achieve the optimum good performance of the system it must operate under the following conditions:
- Correct level of refrigerant in the system.
- Correct level of lubricating oil in the crank case sump.
- System circuit should be free of lubricating oil, air and moisture
- Good performance of thermostatic valve and other control mechanism.
- Free from foreign materials.
- Proper quantity and flow of cooling water
- Periodical defrosting.
- Periodical overhauling of compressor.
- Periodic check up of electrical controls.
