Use of incinerator in ECA

Are we allowed to burn sludge in the ECA?

Answer:

Only burning sludge generated from low sulfur oil purification is allowed.
In Baltic sea the sludge incineration prohibite within 12 NM from land, i.e. it is recommended to avoid sludge incineration in Baltic.
