high combustion pressure

The high combustion pressure may be caused by:

  1. Early fuel injection
  2. Incorrect setup of fuel pumps/injectors
  3. Incorrect settings of VIT (Variable Injection Timing)

High peak pressure manifests itself by a knocking sound from the affected unit. This unit will be affected by higher forces and may be damaged in a short period of time if the engine will be allowed to operate in such condition.
