CDI observation ''The vessel was carrying LPG cargo which required that flame screens were not to be frtted. According to inspector, LPG vessel are not required to fit masts with screen flames.

- VIQ7 Item 8.21 "High velocity vents are not fitted with flame screens ..." AND Item 8.41 "High jet vents are not fitted with flame screens ... " AND Item 8.53 "Flame screens shall be removed and replaced by protection screens, in accordance with 8.2.15, when carrying cargoes not referenced to this section. (IGC 17.9)"
