Two actions can be done to affect the speed of drift:
- Trim the ship by stern as much as possible. This will reduce the underwater part of the hull and thus effect of current will be reduced.
- Use the Thrusters to change the ships heading. This will reduce the effect of both current and wind.
After changing the trim and heading, the speed and direction of drift will change. Monitor changes.
