One of the Main Engine cooling pumps is down for maintenance. The rest of the cooling pumps are operating on full capacity with minimum margins on the maximum temperature limit.
Is it allowed to switch ER to UMS mode?
In this case, UMS mode is not allowed. Operate the engine room on manual mode until the maintenance is completed and the cooling pump is operational and switched to standby mode.
