Occasionally when a vessel has suffered defects or damages ( which can be repaired temporarily ) not to the extent of severely effecting vessel's safe operation; in this situation a Condition of Class is issued. An Interim certificate is given until such time as permanent repairs can be made. Example: Losing of an anchor, damage hatch covers. ( usually it is allowed for a certain period to get it fixed.)
